The last thing she remembered was the champagne glass.
The cameras were flashing. Everyone was smiling. Then everything went black.
When she opened her eyes, she was lying in a hospital bed, confused and terrified.
“Can someone explain what happened here?” she asked.
The doctor looked at her, but his face said more than his words ever could.
“It was an accident. Everything was an accident.”
