Adopted baby with Down syndrome goes viral after smiling for mom

Posted on August 11, 2025 By admin No Comments on Adopted baby with Down syndrome goes viral after smiling for mom

There’s nothing quite like a baby’s smile to warm the heart. Call me a softy, but few things compare to the joy radiating from a happy child.

That’s likely why a video shared by the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network went viral. It features a baby with Down syndrome beaming at her adoptive mother — and it’s been viewed over 14 million times.

The baby’s joy is contagious, a reflection of the love she’s found in her new family.

Founded in 1982 by Robin and David Steele, the NDSAN works to ensure every child with Down syndrome grows up in a loving home.

In today’s world, it’s moments like these — a baby’s smile, a joyful laugh — that remind us of the good. Watch the video and see if it doesn’t move you. Some things just speak straight to the heart.
