Covered in cuts and bruises, her heart pounding with raw terror, a heavily pregnant woman ran frantically through a dark parking lot. In total despair, she gripped a nearby pole and sobbed, believing she wouldn’t survive the night. Suddenly, a taxi pulled up, and a driver stepped out, yelling, “Get in, I’ll get you there faster than walking!” Clinging to her stomach inside the car, she wept, “I have no one else. Please don’t leave me alone.” The driver looked in his rearview mirror with fierce determination and promised, “I’m staying until someone comes for you.” He had no idea she was escaping a dangerous cult, and his taxi was now the target of a high-speed chase.
