Exhausted, hungry, and completely out of hope, a heavily pregnant woman lay curled up on a park bench next to a cardboard sign reading “Anything helps”. Out of nowhere, a little girl walked up holding a fresh sandwich and handed it over with a sweet smile. The woman welled up with tears: “Thank you, sweetheart.” The little girl asked innocently, “Where’s your baby’s daddy?” The woman replied softly, “He left before he found out I needed him most.” The little girl’s mother, standing just a few feet away, was so deeply moved by the scene that she stepped in and offered the pregnant woman a safe place to live and a stable job, proving that real angels live among us.
