The Tragic Incident
According to official reports, the accident involved a gray Mazda Demio traveling from east to west. Inside were three passengers: the driver, Angela Merici Ubiera Sosa, her companion Maribel Sosa Polanco, and Ruth Sosa herself. The impact proved fatal for Ruth, while Angela and Maribel sustained injuries requiring immediate hospitalization at Villa Hermosa Hospital in La Romana.
