Distressed and trembling on a rooftop overlooking the city, a woman is desperate to ensure her baby is safe. An arrogant socialite, valuing the prestige of her building over human life, tries to have her dragged away, claiming the woman is not her “concern.” Her heartless dismissal is stopped cold by a maintenance worker who steps forward as the woman’s protector. He reveals that she is the reason the building is still standing, leaving the socialite stunned as she is forced to apologize for her cruelty.
