Some dogs seem to carry the weight of the world in their eyes, and Kelly is one of them. At just four years old, she has already endured more than most animals ever should. Used again and again for her puppies, Kelly’s life began not with love and comfort, but with exploitation. Her body was treated as a tool for profit, her needs overlooked while her puppies were taken from her.
When she was no longer useful, Kelly was cast aside like something disposable. She was left to survive alone, wandering the streets, her ribs showing, her paws sore from endless searching for scraps of food. Days blurred into nights, and nights into more hopeless mornings.
